Carl Groon
is a Crest native. He
and his wife Donna have three children. Carl has
been a successful local business owner for thirty years.
He is currently serving his second term with the Greater
Wildwood Tourism Improvement and Development Authority.
Carl was a member of the Crest Recreation Committee and
worked with fellow residents to redesign the Crest Pier we
all enjoy today. He was elected president five of
his six years on the Crest Board of Education.
A
benevolent advocate for our island's youth, Carl has
volunteered his time to coach the Optimist Little League
team for eight years, serves on the Greater Wildwood
Little League Board and is the current coach of the Crest
Memorial varsity basketball team. Family man,
businessman, coach or good neighbor - however you come to
cross paths with Carl you know you have met one of the
island's finest. Carl Groon will server his hometown well
on the Crest Commission - just as he always has. |
