Carl
Groon
is a Crest native. He and his wife, Donna, have three
children, who were raised in Wildwood Crest, and two
grandchildren. Carl has been a successful local business
owner for more than 30 years. He is a former member of the
Wildwood Crest Recreation Committee and was appointed to
one term with the Greater Wildwood Tourism Improvement and
Development Authority. He also served as president for
five of the six years he was a member of the Wildwood
Crest Board of Education.
A
benevolent advocate for our island’s youth, Carl
volunteered his time to coach the Optimist Little League
team for eight years, served as a board member for the
Greater Wildwood Little League and has coached the
Crest
Memorial
Elementary School
junior varsity and varsity basketball teams. A dedicated
family man, businessman and good neighbor, Carl Groon has
dedicated himself to continue to serve his hometown. |
