Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. This is a free, non-competitive program for

Fit Seniors Exercise Classes
The Wildwood
Crest Recreation Department hosts its Fit Seniors program, an
exercise class specifically designed for men and women age 60 and
older, each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the
Crest Pier. The class focuses on safe and effective endurance,
flexibility, balance and strength training to improve overall
function.
Fee is $5 per
class or 12 classes for $50.

Crest Pier Zumba Classes
The Wildwood
Crest Recreation Department hosts Zumba classes Saturdays at 9 a.m.
at the
Crest
Pier
Recreation
Center
. Classes are directed by Kelly Wood, a certified fitness
instructor.
Cost is $5
per class or $50 for 12 sessions.
Attendees
should arrive at least five minutes prior to start time and should
wear appropriate attire.

Yoga Classes
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department hosts yoga classes
three times per week at the
Crest
Pier
Recreation
Center
. Classes are held Tuesdays
from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. and 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. and Thursdays from
7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Cost is $5 per class or $50 for 12
sessions. All ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to arrive
five minutes prior to start time and to bring their own mats if
possible.

Junior Basketball Program
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department currently hosts a
junior basketball program on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The program, which is open to boys and girls in grades 3-5, is a mix
of instructional practices and games. The program continues through
early March.

Pier Walking

Crest
Pier
Recreation
Center
is open to walkers Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Twelve laps around the inside of the facility equal one mile.
Adult Cards

Crest
Pier
Recreation
Center
hosts an adult cards program each Wednesday at 10 a.m. The program
is free. No pre-registration is necessary.
Adult Mahjong
The
Crest
Pier
Recreation
Center
hosts adult mahjong games each Monday, Thursday and Friday at noon.
The program is free. No pre-registration is necessary.
Paper
Shredder
Available To Borough Residents
The
Borough of Wildwood Crest encourages its residents not to
throw away their junk mail, personal records, old receipts or other
normally discarded documents, as the borough has made a commercial
shredding machine available to its residents.
The shredding
machine is located at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool at
8800 New Jersey Avenue
and is available for use by residents from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday
through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
