PIER PLAYMATES DAY CAMP The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department conducts its extremely popular Pier Playmates Day Camp each summer for children who are entering grades pre-K through 5 the following fall. The camp consists of numerous fun-filled activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips and much, much more. The camp is directed by two certified and experienced schoolteachers and an experienced schoolteacher’s aide, with the help of numerous other experienced and enthusiastic staff members. Two sessions of the 2009 Pier Playmates Day Camp
are available. Session I is a
five-week program that runs from MONDAY, JUNE 29 through FRIDAY, JULY
31. Session II is a three-week program that runs from late MONDAY, AUG.
3 through FRIDAY, AUG. 21. Three-, four- and five-day rates are available for each session. Specific fees are listed below. Camp is held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Priority
registration, which is open to returning campers, continues through
Sunday, April 26. Open registration for all potential new campers begins
Monday, April 27. All potential new campers and their parent(s)/guardian(s)
are required to attend an interview prior to registering.
Parents/guardians of potential new campers can now call 523-0018 for
information about interview dates and times and to set up an
appointment. Parents/guardians of potential new campers are strongly urged to set up an interview as soon as possible as the Pier Playmates Day Camp is filled to capacity each summer. Call 523-0202 or 523-0018 for further information.
